Big list of torrent site proxies

Is it just me or has finding quality torrents become a lot harder recently? Some of my old go-to spots, such as ThePirateBay and KickAssTorrents are no longer online, or at least go offline frequently, and it seems like all the new sites are filled with ads and popups, which is annoying.

So I was thinking about this and decided to put together some proxies and mirror sites that provide the same torrents as the most popular trackers, for research purposes. Please take a look at these and let me in the comments if you think they’re legit versions of the originals, or just fakers.

IMPORTANT – Downloading copyrighted material is illegal in many countries, and proxy websites can cause security issues. Make sure you check the security section at the end of the article.

YIFY proxy and mirror list

YIFY proxy list
If you torrent movies, chances are you’ve heard of YIFY, the torrent release group known for high quality video and small download sizes.

The official YIFY domain has been down since 2015, and was already blocked by many ISPs around the world. Fortunately, there are a couple of mirror sites that hold YIFY releases.

Here are the best ones I found: – Very Fast – Very Fast – Very Fast – Fast – Normal – Very Fast – Normal – Very Fast

RARBG proxy and mirror list

RARBG proxy list
RARBG – one of the few places you knew you could find what you were looking for. Games, movies, apps, music, software, e-books, TV shows, this place had it all.

Unfortunately, this website fell prey to copyright holders, and most ISPs now block the site. If you still want to access it, you’ll need to go through proxies and mirror sites.

However, some things aren’t meant to last. Sharing copyright-protected materials is illegal in many countries, and was targeted by governmental agencies and ISPS.

Are torrent proxy sites safe?

Well, not really.

Downloading torrents has always carried the risk that the original file creator added malware, or that someone seeding the file has spoofed a packet to appear legit, but again adding malware. Computer viruses have come a long way in recent years, with the rise of ransomware being very overt and well publicised, but there are also even more insidious, in my opinion, examples of malware that track your every move, operate your camera, and otherwise spy on you.

Before opening any file you’ve downloaded, always make sure you run it through up-to-date anti-malware such as AVG, and perform regular full disk scans.

The other risk is that your ISP monitors your internet behaviour and alerts copyright holders.

Please respect the laws of your country and only use peer to peer networking, file sharing, torrenting, etc. in a way that is in-line with local laws.

That said, we don’t condone ISPs spying on your internet behaviour.

Protect your privacy when torrenting

To stop your ISP from tracking your behaviour and controlling what you can access online, we recommend using a VPN. Check our list of the best VPNs for torrenting for more information on how to choose.

A VPN will also protect your real IP from being shared across the torrent network.

If you want to get started right away, I’d say go with NordVPN as they have fantastic security and above average speed, and allow torrenting on their servers. Visit NordVPN.
